Ryan started his working life in the Armed Forces with 3 years regular service in the Cavalry and continued service for 6 years in the T.A.V.R. with the Westminster and Berkshire Dragoons.

Working in Financial Services for 18 years, across all the various fields/disciplines until leaving NatWest Bank where he became a Senior Financial Planning Manager and set up Hythe Ethical in 1997.
Ryan is married with 2 children and 2 grandchildren. His pastimes include being a member with the R.A.O.B in London and a Council Member of the Westminster Dragoons. 

He enjoys Golf and Riding, which he now has to limit due to a false hip, the result of a parachute accident with the Army.

 

Richard Longley CertPFS - Partner

Educated at Stoneham School in Reading, Richard joined NatWest Bank where he worked his way through the various departments of the banking world before focusing on Financial Services providing financial advice to NatWests clients. In 1993 Richard was involved in the launch of NatWest Life, NatWests in-house insurance company. After qualifying with his Financial Planning Certificates, Richard decided to leave the Bank at the end of 1996. After gaining experience as an Independent Insurance Broker, he joined Ryan as a Partner of Hythe Ethical. He is married with three young girls and his sports are Golf and football.

 

Frazer Marsh CertPFS Mortgage Operations Manager

With over 14 years in Financial Services Frazer has a broad knowledge of the financial sector having managed a Building Society and developed and delivered financial services through a variety of retail outlets.

Specialising in Mortgages but with excellent qualifications in all other areas of Financial Services, Frazer has the ability to assist his clients across the full spectrum of their financial needs.

Married with two boys Frazer is passionate about his Carp fishing as well as being a keen cyclist, swimmer and runner.

Glyn Williams - Operations Manager

With over 28 years experience in Banking combined with the practical experience gained running a successful media company, Glyn is ideally qualified to deliver the systems and process efficiencies that underpin Hythe Ethical's commitment to service excellence. 

Processes and procedures are continually monitored and adjusted to comply with current legislation and to achieve greater efficiencies and cost savings.

Married with 2 children, Glyn is a committed rock climber who has conquered some of the worlds most challenging (and dangerous) climbs. He is also a fully qualified BSAC Dive Leader.

 

Chris Jenkins CertPFS - Financial Consultant

Educated at Astor College of Arts, Chris went on to South Kent College in 1999, studying Advance Business and Finance where he was awarded a Distinction Grade.

He joined Hythe Ethical as a trainee Financial Adviser in 2001. He studied for his CMAP mortgage qualification and Financial Planning Certificates 1, 2 and 3 passing all four examinations first time. Having gained experience accompanying the Partners, Chris is now fully qualified as an Independent Financial Adviser, actively managing his own clients.

Joe Justice - Trainee

Joe is the newest and indeed youngest member of the Hythe Ethical Team. Having achieved excellent results in his A levels at Dane Court School , Joe is keen to commence his Financial Planning Certification and is studying hard to gain the necessary qualifications.

Currently accompanying other advisors on appointments, Joe is developing his understanding of the exciting world of Financial Services and how Hythe Ethical operates.

Joe loves football and regularly plays for Margate reserves as well as frequently keeps fit at the Gym. Family and friends are particularly important

 

Carol Scholes - Personal Assistant

Carol joined Hythe Ethical in 1998 as an Administrative Assistant after a long career in Lloyds TSB. Having worked for 13 years in various branches in East Kent Carol became Assistant Manager of a very efficient and successful Customer Services Centre.
She lives locally with her daughter and is an active member of Girl Guiding UK, running a Rainbow Guides Unit working as District Rainbow Guide Assistant. A trip to Kenya in Summer 2008 demonstrated the real value she derives from this involvement.
Carol enjoys all aspects of Craftwork, especially Scrapbooking and is a 'dab hand' with a needle and thread! As you might imagine she is permanently busy.

Sara Lintott - Personal Assistant

Sara was mainly educated in Jamaica leaving those sunny shores for the somewhat cooler UK in 1987. Some temporary employment led to the YTS scheme and subsequently NatWest where she was for 20 years. Many roles were undertaken from cashiering to a Deputy Managerial role in a local branch. Joining Hythe Ethical in Mar 2008 Sara has a wealth of customer service training to tap into for the benefit of Hythe Ethical customers. Married with two children Sara enjoys holidaying and singing, which she in fact did professionally for 12 years
